Zoned comfort, zero ductwork
Ductless Mini-Split Installs in Peabody
Zone-by-zone warmth and cooling for houses that never had ducts, planned head by head and installed on the dates we set together.
Zones Instead of Ductwork
A lot of Peabody houses were built around a boiler and radiators, or around electric baseboard, and never had a duct anywhere. Putting ducts into those homes means tearing into finished walls. Ductless mini-splits avoid the demolition entirely. Every indoor head ties back to an outdoor unit by way of a slender refrigerant line threaded through a small hole in an exterior wall. Each head runs its own zone with its own control. That makes mini-splits ideal for a few common problems. The sunroom that is unusable half the year. The finished basement that never quite warms up. The upstairs bedrooms that bake in July. With enough heads placed well, a ductless system can also heat and cool an entire cape, ranch or unit in a two-family. Planning comes first. We walk the house, note how rooms connect and where doors stay shut and measure the heat loss in each zone. From that we decide the number of heads, their type and their locations. Wall heads suit most rooms, floor consoles fit beneath low windows and ceiling cassettes leave walls clear. The proposal shows the layout, price, expected incentive and install dates. After the install, every zone is tested and you learn how to run each one.

A simple cleaning schedule so each head keeps running quietly.
Mini-Split Timeline
Name the problem rooms
On the call, name the spaces that run cold or hot and describe today's heating. We outline a possible zone plan.
Map the zones
During the visit we measure, choose head locations and then send a written layout with price, incentive and dates.
Install and test each zone
Heads and outdoor unit mounted, lines connected, each zone tested and every control explained.
